Performance of a PMSG Based Wind Energy Conversion System by Using Fuzzy Logic Controller
Abstract
Using a fuzzy logic controller, vector control, and direct torque control, a reliable and
effective control system may be developed for WECSs based on a permanent magnet synchronous
generator (PMSG) to improve machine performance. When it comes to power generation and grid
compliance, fast transient and steady state performance of wind energy conversion systems (WECSs)
are critical. Two hysteresis current controllers and an inverter-switching table are part of the system.
Fast transient and smooth steady state performance for the machine side converter of PMSGs,
which regulates the DC-link voltage under grid fault circumstances, is provided by the suggested
control method
